HYPER ACTIVE STUDIOS was started in 1997 by Robert R Baker and his wife Lea Chastain Baker.

Robert had previously served as the publisher and owner of a small press comic book company by the name of RAGE COMICS.When Rage began to flounder in an already volitile comic book industry, the doors were closed.But not before RAGE published it's best seeling title ever...WYND (which would later be reborn as GODDESS, but that is getting ahead).

In late 1997, Robert and Lea decided to start up a new company... one that would be a multi-media company.

At this point, Robert decided to get into working on video shoots.This is where he fell in love with the camera.Robert and a small crew began to work on what would be HYPER ACTIVE STUDIOS first video production, PEEPERS.

Things began to move quickly at this point, and Robert and Lea began moving fast and furious on both the movies and the comic books.

At this point, Robert began to work on his dream project; the movie version of the GODDESS comic book.He began the casting process, and in a little over a year the GODDESS movie was ready to go with the dream cast and everything.But more on that later...

Robert Baker is the owner and producer for Hyper Active Studios.Hyper Active Studios has produced three feature length motion pictures, PARTY CRASHER, PEEPERS, and the upcoming GODDESS ; as well as several other videos.Robert has written and directed both PEEPERS and GODDESS, as well as the upcoming HAS Komix GODDESS comic book.The GODDESS comic book will make it be world wide debut at the Pittsburgh Comicon, with the release of the GODDESS PREVIEW EDITION, which will sport a special variant cover especially for the convention.

Rob is an artist/inker who has been working with Marvel for about 3 years.His credits include : X-Man, Uncanny X-Men, X-Men Unlimited, Wolverine Worlds of Tomorrow and Excalibur, & Gambit.

He is currently working on the Iron Man series for Marvel.Rob spent a year at the Joe Kubert School.
