  Robert Baker, PGA Teaching ProfessionalRobert Baker was one of South Africa's top amateur golfers when he accepted a golf scholarship to the University of Texas in 1982.The Cape Town native dropped out of medical school to play golf at UT for two years before transferring to Southwest Texas State University to play golf and complete his degree in business administration.
  
  After college, Baker returned to South Africa to play professional golf on the South African Tour.For two years he worked for and was sponsored by GDM Finance, a trade finance company that specializes in imports.While on tour, Baker became fascinated with creating the perfect golf swing - a desire that led him to two of the world's finest golf teachers, Chuck Cook and David Leadbetter.
