Michelle Baikie Director at large Newfoundland Region An artist dedicated to the craft of photography, Michelle Baikie is the owner of her own business specializing in biomedical, scientific, traditional and digital photography. Ms Baikie has both a Bachelor of Education from Memorial University and a Bachelor of Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Along with owning her own successful business, she is a Grade Three Teacher with the Lake Melville School in North West River, Labrador. She has been an active member of several organizations including the Goose Bay Curling Club, the Aboriginal Artist Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Labrador Heritage Society, Grenfell Foundation Board and Them Days Board. Michelle is a board member with The Rooms of the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN).

Michelle Baikie is the owner of MRB Photo Communications, a business which specializes in biomedical, scientific, traditional and digital photography.She is a member of the Native Indian/Inuit Photographers' Association and the Association for Aboriginal Artists of Newfoundland and Labrador.She has been awarded a number of distinctions for her photography and has had exhibitions all over the world including the United States and Russia.Ms. Baikie is based in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
