Born on November 10, 1956 to Maher Badawi, a Colonel in the Egyptian army (June 10, 1928 - February 7, 1963) and Soad Badawi (April 29, 1937 - February 2, 2005).Went to school in Cairo at the Jesuits (Les Pères Jésuites) until secondary except 2 years at Saint Marc in Alexandria after his father's passing away.Graduated from Cairo University, majoring in Accounting in 1981.Started his career after graduation as a banker in Middle East Bank in Cairo, BCCI London then First American Bank of New York, NYC.Attended a Credit course with Chase Manhattan Bank (1982).Attended an International Banking study at Chemical Bank, NYC (1983).Started his own business in 1984 (Eastern Dynamics) in the field of imports of paperboard and steel bars, then moved to represent International Companies in the Transportation Infrastructure since 1985 (Aracom Systems), representing International and Multinational Companies from Canada, Netherlands, Romania, USSR and the USA.In 1999 added a new field of Information Technology Consultation.Published his first Article in Al-Akhbar Newspaper (1991), published several articles in Sout El-Omma, Al-Ahram, Al-Fagr, Al-Mal, Al-Gamaheer and Al-Masry Al-Youm Newspapers (in Arabic). Also had hundreds of interviews by Newspapers, TV and Radio about his views in Business, Trade, Economy, Politics and Culture
