Dr. Daniel Bacal

Dr. Daniel Bacal graduated from General Surgery in Ann Arbor, Michigan.Because of his interest in education, research and minimally invasive surgery, he spent a year under the guidance of Professor Jacques Marescaux, at the IRCAD/Hôpitaux Universitaires de Strasbourg, France.During this year Dr Bacal got involved in multiple projects including new minimally invasive techniques, robotic surgery, telementoring and tele-education, simulators and the use of the Internet for surgical education.His current interests include laparoscopic surgery, obesity, endocrine surgery and digestive surgery.Dr. Bacal is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the SAGES.He has no financial affiliations that would affect the content of his presentations.He will not be discussing any US FDA non-approved uses for pharmaceutical or medical device products.
