The production house behind the show later asked him if he was interested in playing a policeman in a new drama.
'It wasn't anything in the beginning, just knocking on doors and asking people if they are okay,' he says of the character he plays opposite Vincent Ng in Heartlanders.
'But my character has definitely grown since then,' he adds of the show.
However, he has had more exposure in Malay TV.In February this year, he was voted Suria's Most Popular Artiste for his roles in the romantic comedy series, Cinta Bollywood, and social drama series, Jeritan Sepi.
Currently wrapping up filming for Season Three of Heartlanders, he also makes his first appearance in the second season of Light Years.
