Mr. Aw-Osman says the creation of a fundamentalist government in Somalia has serious implications for stability in the Horn of Africa.

Farah Aw-Osman, the president of Canadian Friends of Somalia will be leaving the country and visiting Somalia on June 15th, 2005. The purpose for this trip is to deliver the funds that were collected for the tsunami victims, and to reassess the tsunami affected areas in Somalia. He will accurately evaluate the situation there and distribute aid to thousands of Somalis affected by this disaster. -
