We are very pleased to announce that Sudhir Avalakki, PE, has joined our environmental division as a Senior Engineer.Mr. Avalakki has more than 13 years of experience in remediation and water treatment design and construction throughout Southern California.His education credentials include a Bachelors Degree in civil engineering and a Masters Degree in environmental engineering, and he is a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California.Among his accomplishments are the design and construction of a major water recycling system for a tank wash-rack at Edwards Air Force Base, as well as design and construction of dual-phase extraction systems Edwards AFB sites.
September 2001: Lindmark Engineering awarded contract for water treatment system
Lindmark Engineering won the contract from a major Southern California water company for the design and building of a wellhead granular activated-carbon treatment system.The project involves design and construction of a new wellhead pump station, sand filtration units, process instrumentation, and 20,000-pound granular activated-carbon vessels.The end result will be a system to treat groundwater affected by PCE (tetrachloroethene) and increase the well throughput from its current rate of approximately 200 to more than 700 gallons per minute.Lindmark Engineering was selected from a list of seven contractors on the basis of price and qualifications.
