Phil joined the unit in November 2002 from the Public Health Laboratory Service, where he was a Senior Scientist in Infectious Disease Epidemiology. He has a BSocSci in Geography, an MSc in Geographical Information Systems, and a PhD in Spatial Epidemiology.
Phil also works as a Public Health Specialist for Southwark PCT, leading on Public Health Information & Mental Health. He manages the RDC, leading on strategic development and fostering collaboration across the 4 PCTs. Phil's major recent achievement has been his successful bid to Guy's & St Thomas' Charity for £1.3M to build research infrastructure in Southwark & Lambeth PCTs. -
