Irem Erdem Atak

Psychologist Irem Erdem Atak She was born in Istanbul in 1975. She was graduated from the Department of Psychology at Boðaziçi University in 1997. After graduation, she worked as a volunteer in the Child Psychiatry Department of Istanbul Medical Faculty for 1.5 years. In 2002, she completed graduate degree on Clinical Psychology in Istanbul University. While continuing graduate program, she worked at Gaziosmanpaþa Þafak Hastanesi as a psychologist. Afterwards, she worked in the Anatolia Clinics of Balýklý Rum Hospital as a psychologist and psychotherapist. Psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy, Psychoanalytic interviewing techniques, Family Therapy, Schema Therapy, training on the administration and interpretation of various tests (Rorschach Test, Fairy Tale Test, WISC-R Intelligence test) can be named as the training programs she attended. She has scientific articles published in both Turkish and European journals. She still continues her doctorate program in Clinical Psychology at Istanbul University , takes an active part in scientific projects that are carried out there and works with infertile couples as the subject of her doctorate thesis at the Infertility Clinic of Istanbul Medical Faculty.
