   Dr. Assenzo joined the DIA as Executive Director in 1996. He had previously served as Vice President and Senior Advisor for Regulatory Affairs & Project Management, Novo Nordisk, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Prior to becoming Executive Director, Dr. Assenzo had served the DIA as President, Director, and Chair of the DIA Steering Committee for the Americas and as a member of the editorial board for the association's "Drug Information Journal."
