   Father Jason Asselin and Father Luke Meyer were ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Samuel Aquila June 3 at the Cathedral of St. Mary, Fargo.

   Father Asselin is the son of Donald and the late Mary Asselin of St. Cloud, Minn. He graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1995. He attended Montana State University in Bozeman, Mont., for two years then transferred to St. Cloud State University, where he completed his bachelor's degree in geology in 1999. He entered Cardinal Muench Seminary, Fargo, in 2000. In 2002, he entered St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, where he earned his baccalaureate of sacred theology degree. Bishop Aquila has assigned Father Asselin to serve as parochial vicar at the Cathedral of St. Mary in Fargo, and St. William parish in Argusville, beginning June 21.
