   Unanimously considered a "go-to" guy, Chris Asselin demonstrates an outstanding work ethic in his position as Manager, Packaging Engineering with Davol. He sits on every new product project team from the feasibility phase to the development and transfer phases. In addition, Chris also plans, organizes, and coordinates all activities within the Packaging Engineering Group.
   
   In his role, Chris is always looking for ways to improve upon current technologies to ensure the highest quality products for both healthcare providers and patients. He approaches every opportunity with enthusiasm, attacking it head-on with a sharp focus on the result. Above all, he bases every solution on the big picture - the overall goals of the project team, division, and company.
   
   Chris also consistently helps others with tasks that may not even be associated with packaging. In fact, not only will he answer someone's question, but he will give multiple solutions, suggest resources and connect that person with other co-workers who can help.
   
   A native of Warren, Rhode Island, Chris began his career with Davol as a Senior Packaging Engineer with the Product Development Group in February 1997. Since then, his enthusiasm, deep knowledge, and strong customer focus have propelled him upward - first to Supervisor, Packaging Engineering and now to his current position.
   
   Chris demonstrates an unwavering commitment to his community, regularly attending town meetings and volunteering to serve on a trash clean-up committee. He also supports numerous charities including the Rhode Island Food Bank, Save the Bay, the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association. In every way, Chris exemplifies the qualities we value at Bard, and we are proud to honor him.
