Sandy Assarian, producer of 4th Street Theater's "Soup du Jour" in Chesterton, hopes the musical comedy will make audiences forget about the world's troubles for a while.
"I think that we're all heavy at heart these days, and we all need to just have fun," she said.

"Timing is everything in this comedy, and when you do a show like this, the actors have to be what they call a triple threat," Assarian said. "They have to able to sing, they have to be able to dance, and they have to be able to act. Assarian encouraged theatregoers to reserve their tickets to the musical in advance. -

"It's in the spirit of community theater to do original work," said Sandy Assarian, North Coast Cultural Association president. "It's an excellent show. It's different. I think it exposed people to a real myriad of experiences."
"Macbeth" is Shakespeare's shortest and bloodiest tragedy and is considered one of his finest. The plot's hard-edged swiftness hurls the play toward its inevitable end.
