Dr. Assar has been in private practice since 1995. He is board certified in pediatrics and adult internal medicine and cardiology. He received his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Science both in Biology from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. He received his M.D. from Universidad Mundial School of Medicine in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
