   Gary Walker, PUD Water/Wastewater superintendent, and consultant Randy Asplund of RH2 Engineering, East Wenatchee, discussed factors affecting PUD water service in the Sunnyslope area, north of Wenatchee.

   Asplund made several recommendations for meeting increased water service demands in the area including construction of two new water reservoirs - a 1-million-gallon reservoir in the Eaglerock area and a 3.5-million-gallon reservoir for upper Sunnyslope. He estimated the cost of improvements needed over the next two years at $8.6 million and recommended the District seek low-interest state and federal loans to finance the work.
   
   Chelan County PUD acquired the rural water system in 1974. Only a few improvements have been made to the system since that time, Asplund told PUD commissioners.
