The session pictured above brought together a number of the primary schools that have already been working on the programme for a POP lacrosse workshop led by the regional development officer, Mike Aspinall.

The tournament came about after a series of coaching sessions delivered in the schools by Mike Aspinall and it is hoped to run the tournament each term to follow on from the coaching programmes that are planned each term for schools in the district.
