Women all over the world fight for different issues. The feminist struggle is different in different parts of the world due to varying life conditions and cultures. In one country, the struggle is against genital mutilation, in another the struggle is for a six-hour working day. Although we see our differences, we don't believe them to be an impediment to solidarity.
SAC is nowadays not just a syndicalist organisation but also a feminist as such. Though this is not as evident in our practice as we would wish, we are very much impressed by GEFONT's work of organising women workers and empowering women.
