   Vicki Hunter Askew has joined Regions Bank and Union Planters Bank as vice president and senior marketing director. Askew was previously director of development at the Nashville Zoo. She is responsible for the overall marketing activity of the bank's branch offices in Tennessee and Kentucky, which compose its Middle Tennessee Group.

   Vicki Askew has been hired by the Nashville Zoo as their development director.
   
   She will work closely with staff in the areas of fundraising, marketing, public relations, membership and special events to accomplish her goals.
   
   For the past seven years, Askew managed her own company, The Stanford Group. She is currently co-chair of the Community Division of the We Build People Campaign of the Brentwood YMCA.
