   Born June 11, 1956, in Mitchell County, Mrs. Askew was a supervisor for Southeast Atlantic Beverage Company. She was a 1972 graduate of Dougherty High School. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church in Baconton.
   
   Survivors include her husband, James Askew of College Park; four daughters, Trebishia LaShay Burns, Carolyn Williams, Ashley Burns and Christy Burns, all of College Park; one son, James Burns of College Park; two sisters, Ophelia Winchester and Shirley Burns, both of Albany; six grandchildren.
