Mr. Askenazi has assisted clients with complex real estate financings, the creation of private equity opportunity funds and various partnership and limited liability company finance transactions.
Mr. Askenazi regularly represents all of the main participants in domestic and international commercial real estate related financing transactions including sponsors, issuers, underwriters, collateral managers, advisors, loan sellers and bond insurers.Mr. Askenazi also represents investors in the acquisition, disposition and financing of commercial real estate related assets including whole loans, B-Notes, participations, mezzanine loans, bank loans, and CMBS.He also has experience in public offerings and private placements of residential mortgage-backed securities.
Mr. Askenazi joined Thacher Proffitt as an associate upon graduation from law school in 2003.
