   That's when Myah met Juliet Askenase, her MSPCC therapist. For the past four years, Juliet has provided Myah with mental health treatment and has accessed community resources, including an anger management group, special education assistance at the Lowell Public Schools, and summer camp opportunities. "Myah is a remarkable kid. She came to me as an angry child, but has shown that she has the capacity to hold things together," Juliet said about Myah.

   I have been involved with MSPCC through therapy with Juliet. It has made a huge impact in my life. MSPCC and Juliet have helped me realize I can't always hold onto the past. I have to learn from the things in the past to better my future. Juliet has talked to me and reached me in a way that none of my previous therapists did or could. She helped me get through so many problems that I had. She really changed me for the better. Although I still have a lot to work on, I owe a lot to her.
