   Lara Ashworth - Lara Ashworth is a people strategy and development professional. In the last four years as Metro's Director of Talent and Culture she has led Metro's transformation from a task-driven operation, to a people-centric organisation with a learning and coaching culture. Her design and implementation of a bespoke people strategy has seen Metro become one of only 30 Investors In People Champion organisations in the UK and listed as one of "Britain's Top Employers" for three consecutive years. Lara also carries out consultancy and coaching across private sector and not for profit organisations. Lara's core skills lie in people strategy design, delivery of development initiatives, coaching and facilitation. Lara achieved her first-class Psychology degree from Cardiff University, before gaining her MA in Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster, as part of the 4 years she spent working in BT Human Resources. More recently she has completed the CIPD's Advanced Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring, and has become a trained facilitator. Lara is a regular columnist for People Management magazine.
