Ben is a senior Physiotherapist at the OMI and joined in March 2005 having previously worked for three years as physiotherapist with the successful London Wasps rugby team.During that time he worked with a number of current England rugby internationals.Since working at the OMI Ben has gained extensive experience of working with athletes from a range of other sports and has developed his experience in screening and injury prevention, as well as new developments in rehabilitation and treatment.

Ben graduated from Birmingham University in 1997 and has developed his manual skills through working in a variety of settings and through completion of his MSc.In addition to a hands on approach to treatment, Ben is qualified in soft tissue injections and acupuncture for common musculoskeletal conditions.As a Fellow of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, Ben lectures to doctors and physiotherapists on residential courses.

His holistic approach combined with an open mindedness to whatever works, ensures that athletes will be given an honest opinion and a quality of service expected by the very best.
