   Greig Ashurst, MelodyWave® Instruments Consultant Greig Ashurst, MelodyWave® Instrument Consultant has directed bands for 12 years in public and private high schools and middle schools in Louisiana, North Carolina, and Texas. He has worked in churches, directing choral and handbell groups of all ages since 1988. He has also served as a conductor for honor bands and handbell festivals throughout the country. As a percussionist, Mr. Ashurst has worked as an instructor, clinician, arranger, and adjudicator for schools throughout the United States. As a soloist, he has been featured in programs with the Lafayette Concert Band and as a guest artist at Carnegie Hall. Mr. Ashurst earned a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette and a Master of Music Degree in Instrumental Conducting from the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University. He is currently a music educator at North Vermillion High School in Maurice, Louisiana.
