Mr. Elizabeth Kitchen Ashton

Born in Lambertville to Theodore and Elizabeth Kitchen Ashton, he was a lifelong resident.Most recently he was a custodian with the Best of France Antiques in Lambertville. He was a member, past president and past vice president of the T-Club at the Hunterdon Medical Center. Mr. Ashton was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lambertville.

Born in Elizabeth, he moved to Readington Township in 1977. He graduated from the University of Pittsburg in 1969 with a degree in economics.He was a member of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity. In 1969 he accepted a teaching position at East Side High School in Newark.The following year he began working at Provident Mutual Life Insurance in Cranford as a financial advisor, where he continued his career for 32 years.He was a chartered life underwriter.He specialized in investments, mutual funds, and life and health insurance.
