   Rob Ashmore is a partner in the Atlanta office.He has represented employers in virtually every area of labor and employment law.He has successfully defended employers in union organizing campaigns across the country.He also has extensive experience in handling NLRB unfair labor practice cases, employment discrimination cases, reductions in force, employment and termination agreements, strike injunctions, collective bargaining, and arbitration of disputes arising out of collective bargaining agreements.Rob's commentary on the challenges facing employers and unions in a world economy, "Can 1930s Tactics Solve Current Labor Problems Related to Globalization?," was published in the Spring 2002 issue of Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law.He is a frequent speaker on labor and employment law topics.Prior to joining the firm, Rob was an Honor Graduate of the U.S. Naval Justice School.He served as anti-submarine helicopter officer, legal officer, and personnel officer on the destroyer USS BORIE (DD-704) and later served as an aide to a classified international naval organization.In 2005, Rob was selected as a Georgia "Super Lawyer, Labor and Employment" and, in 2006, was listed by Labor Research Institute as one of the "Top 100 Attorneys" in the U.S. handling NLRB cases.

   Rob is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the American Bar Association and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and he served as a U.S. representative to the 2001 Oxford University Roundtable on employment discrimination.
