   Ahmed has been involved with the Classic league as a coach since 1991 and a part of the board since 1996. He serves as a member of the NTSSA Competitive Committee. From 1986 - 1999, Ahmed was heavily involved with the Greater Lewisville Area Soccer Association (GLASA). Over these 13 years he held several positions including Director of Coaching and Player Development, General Manager, Vice President and President of GLASA. Ahmed grew up in Cairo, Egypt where he played for Zamalek, Shooting Club and for Cairo University. He holds a USSF National "C' license and a "CAF" license. He is a staff coach at NTSSA. Ahmed is currently the Coaching Director for the Dallas Texans West Division.
   
   When asked why he is involved with the league Ahmed commented, "I love soccer so much and think of myself as an ambassador of the game.
