Ashmawi oversees implementation of company policies and procedures.Early in his career, Eng.Ashmawi served as Deputy Chief of Party on the USAID-funded Local Development II/Provincial Project where he supervised technical assistance, training, operation and maintenance, and institutional development for infrastructure projects in water and wastewater systems, equipment, roads and buildings.Eng.Ashmawi promotes institutional development by putting together the counterparts and/or subordinates in the private sector and all levels of the Government of Egypt (GOE) from Central Government to village level.He is a member of several professional societies, including the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers, the Egyptian Society for O&M Engineers and is a registered Consulting Engineer.Eng.Ashmawi holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Administration Management, Egyptian Armed Forces, Alexandria, Egypt, 1976 and a B.Sc., degree in Mechanical Engineering, Alexandria University (1966).
