Rev. Bruce Ashlock

Reverend Bruce Ashlock, pastor at Salem United Church of Christ in Coal Township says it started out as a once a year Thanksgiving meal and evolved from there to a weekly meal.

They now plan to serve a meal every Tuesday evening at the former catholic school.The meal is for those financially in need and those who may live alone and would like to socialize or have companionship.Reverend Ashlock says volunteers are still needed and a March 6th meeting is planned at Our Lady of Hope.
