   Ms. Ashley concentrates her practice on a variety of information technology and intellectual property transactions, including joint ventures, strategic partnerships, licensing, distribution, and software development with an additional emphasis on commercial transactions in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
   
   Ms. Ashley received a J.D. with honors in 2000 from the University of Texas School of Law, where she was a member of the Legal Research Board. She received a B.A. magna cum laude in Biology and Sociology from Southern Methodist University in 1989, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
   
   Prior to attending law school, Ms. Ashley worked as a research scientist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas conducting studies in the areas of developmental biology and human genome research.
   
   Ms. Ashley is admitted to practice in the State of Colorado and is a member of the American Bar Association
