   Dr. George Ashkar, 50, has more than fifteen years of executive management experience in the high technology industry, with demonstrated proficiency in building successful Information Technology businesses. Dr. Ashkar is the founder, President and CEO of INSIGHT Consulting Group, Inc., a management consulting firm dedicated to setting and implementing corporate strategy in the IT supply chain and telecommunications fields. He is responsible for developing diversification strategies, M&A due diligence and operational performance quality assurance. Other areas of expertise include new business venture strategic planning and supply chain operations.
   
   Dr. Ashkar holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Systems Engineering and an M.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut. He began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories, eventually becoming head of International Transmission Systems Engineering. He then joined BDM International, Inc., holding various executive management positions including Senior Vice President of Advanced Technologies and Senior Vice President of BDM's Integrated Supply Chain Operations and Logistics Technologies. He was responsible for developing the vision and strategy for BDM's highly successful Integrated Supply Chain Solutions Strategic Business Unit.
