Prior to joining NuTool, Dr. Ashjaee served as vice president of engineering at Lam Research Corporation. At Lam he oversaw a staff of over 200 and managed annual budgets up to $40 million. He enhanced the 4420 and 9400PTX poly etcher products, and developed and introduced the Lam 9600PTX cluster metal etcher. Before that he spent 10 years at the Silicon Valley Group where he held various engineering management positions, developing and managing numerous new products including the SVG 86, 88, and 90 Series Track system.
Dr. Ashjaee holds a doctorate degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
