Deputy Brandon Ashford joined the LPSO Uniform Road Patrol staff in 1999, after working for a number of years in the construction industry.He transferred to the K-9 Patrol division two years later and has worked in partnership with K-9 Harry since then.
K-9 Harry is a Belgian Malinois born in 2000.He has been with the LPSO since he was a year old."Everybody likes to see our dogs, and that's one of the good things about working K-9 Patrol," explains Deputy Ashford."The K-9s also help to further our investigative skills, and they have a great ability to provide back up when needed."
Along with K-9 Harry, Deputy Ashford is a member of the LPSO Special Response Team.He is currently single with no children (in other words, Harry gets all his attention).In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing and camping.
