Alecia is also an avid community activist, working with Junior Achievement, Girl scouts, Big Brothers, Big Sisters and also served as a Board member of the Grand Rapids Urban League, and currently as a Board member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Lambda Pi Omega Foundation in Detroit, Michigan. Alecia achieved a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina and a Master of Business Administration from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.
