   Ron Asher As Vice President of Engineering, Ron Asher is responsible for leading overall R&D efforts and projects at Diligent Technologies and is based in our Tel Aviv facility.
   
   Ron has more than 10 years' experience in engineering and business development roles with both established and start-up environments. His most recent position was VP of R&D at Spearhead Security. While at Spearhead, Ron led their worldwide R&D efforts and helped introduce a new innovative preventive infrastructure for the information security market. He was also responsible for business development efforts in establishing reseller and distribution agreements in Western Europe and Southeast Asia, creating technological and business alliances, managing R&D, and establishing development, qualification, testing, support, and manufacturing procedure standards.
   
   Prior to Spearhead, Ron held the position of VP R&D at ZiNG Interactive Media, where he managed the development and deployment of a mobile commerce platform that included a voice-activated Human Machine Interface, back-office and billing subsystem, call center integration, and customer service website.
   
   Ron's software engineering career began while he served various command roles as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics & Computer Science from Bar Ilan University. > BACK TO TOP

   Ron Asher, Vice President of Research and Development, is responsible for the creation, development and enhancement of SpearHead's product line. Mr. Asher's extensive experience managing R&D facilities in a variety of cutting edge hi-tech systems spans over 15 years. Prior to joining SpearHead in November 2001, Mr. Asher was the Vice President of Research and Development at ZiNG Interactive Media, which has developed a unique Mobile Commerce and Voice Portal platform. Additionally, Mr. Asher was a project manager of intelligence systems at ELTA Electronic Industries, a subsidiary of Israel Aircraft Industry. Mr. Asher led the development of advanced and large-scale software systems for the Israel Defense Force. Mr. Asher holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics from Bar-Ilan University.
