Ara Arzumanian
Ara received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto in 1990 and his LL.B. from Dalhousie Law School in 1992.He was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1995, and joined Levitt, Hoffman in July 2002.His practice includes all areas of Corporate-Commercial, E-commerce and Information Technology law and encompasses business start-ups and acquisitions, corporate re-organizations, partnership and shareholder matters, employment matters, franchising and distribution, commercial leasing, financing transactions, software licensing, online retail, privacy policies, and trade-mark matters.Mr. Arzumanian has been a guest lecturer at The School of Continuing Studies, University of Toronto, and has spoken on the topic of Internet law to such groups as the Canadian Public Relations Society, the Toronto Internet Developers Association and the Ontario Club.Mr. Arzumanian is currently the Treasurer of the Toronto Computer Lawyers Group.He was an evaluator for the Law Society of Upper Canada's committee assessing the proposed legislation for the Province of Ontario's version of PIPEDA.
