Ronald J. Aronberg concentrated his practice on counseling a wide range of businesses, both publicly held and family owned, principally in regard to general commercial, real estate and taxation matters.

While the companies and businesses he represented have operated in many industries, his primary concentration was in the fields of banking, merchandise distribution services and educational institutions.He also served on the Boards of Directors of several corporations.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Business School of Northwestern University (1954) and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School (1957) where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Law Review.

Mr. Aronberg continued his affiliation with the University of Chicago Law School by his activities as a Member of its Visiting Committee, President of its National Alumni Association and Chairman of its Annual Fund for the Law School . He also serves as a Trustee of Roosevelt University and was previously Chairman of the Advisory Council of its Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration.He was a member of the Chicago Bar Association and participated on its Financial Institutions Committee.

Mr. Aronberg was admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
