Benjamin Argil - Benjamin Argil is a Southern Baptist Missionary to Middle America, appointed July, 1990, by the International Mission Board.His current assignment is General Evangelism in Mexico.
His previous assignments were Language Study in San Jose, Costa Rica and Church Planting in Atlantic Zone of Costa Rica.He also taught seminary extension courses.His pre-missionary experience includes: Associate Pastor of Primera Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas; pastor of the Baptist Mission of First Baptist Church, Lampasas, Texas; and summer missionary for Rio Grande River Ministry of the Baptist General Convention of Texas.He and his wife were houseparents at Happy Hill Farm (a children's home) in Granbury, Texas, and he was associate pastor of Mission El Buen Pastor (a mission sponsored by First Baptist Church in Granbury.)
Benjamin was born February 2, 1962 in Acapulco, Mexico, and considers Houston, Texas, his hometown.He received his BA from Howard Payne University, Brownwood, Texas, and his MDIV from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.
Benjamin is married to Susie Bobbitt and they have three children, Leslie Rebekah, Evan Daniel, and Elena.
