Jane Argetsinger

Jane Argetsinger is theProgram Director. She graduated cum laude from The George Washington University with a dual major in Political Science and Sociology. She spent 4 years during college both tutoring individual students and working in classrooms in DCPS. Her senior year she managed a group of fifteen tutors. After college, she spent the summer teaching in South Central Los Angeles for the Los Angeles Unified Public School District. During this time, she also took an intensive course that covered raising student achievement in underserved school districts, instituting measurable outcomes, dealing with classroom management, etc. She has been with Fields of Dreams since April 2006. Currently, she is pursuing a graduate degree certificate through the Johns Hopkins University on Out-of-School Time Leadership
