(Las Vegas) - TREC Investment Realty today announced the appointment of Scott Archibald to the position of vice president of operations.

In his new position with TREC Investment Realty, Archibald is responsible for managing the company's day-to-day operations, human resources, information technology, marketing, public relations, legal, accounting and finance departments.

Archibald brings more than 17 years in executive management experience to the national firm.Prior to joining TREC, he worked at Intel Corp. and Hewlett-Packard.While at both of these large multi-national companies, he gained a diverse background in executive management across information technology, service delivery, product marketing, engineering, research and design, and program management disciplines.

Archibald earned a bachelor of arts degree in both Information Technology and Communications Systems from California State University, Chico.He also attended accelerated graduate coursework in Business Management at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

According to Archibald, TREC Investment Realty has acquired more than $250 million of high-quality real estate assets in the past two years alone, with the company's acquisition target for 2007 exceeding $400 million.

As the Vice President of Operations for TREC Investment Realty, Scott Archibald is a seasoned IT & Operations manager with 17 years experience at Intel Corporation and Hewlett-Packard Company, both Fortune 50 companies in the technology industry.While at both of these large multi-national companies, Scott has a diverse background of management and operations experience across Managed IT Services, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Research and Design, and Program Management disciplines.

At both Intel and HP, Scott has vast experience in successfully managing large global organizations as well as complex cross-organizational global programs.During the past 12 years at Hewlett Packard, Scott held a variety of senior and executive management positions including the Infrastructure Separation of Agilent Technologies from Hewlett-Packard (1999); Day 1 IT Infrastructure readiness as part of the Hewlett-Packard/Compaq company merger (2001); and the transformation of HP's IT Infrastructure to a more cost effective footprint including the removal of $300 million in annual cost (2005).

Scott graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication & Information Systems.
