Louis F. Archbald, DVM, PhD, DACTProfessorDr. Archbald received his DVM in 1965 from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. In 1971 he completed a PhD in Reproductive Physiology at the University of Minnesota.He joined the faculty of the College of Veterinary Medicine in the Department of Large Animal Clinical Sciences in 1984.Dr. Archbald's clinical interests and expertise include reproduction in domestic animals (presently the bovine and canine species).His research focus has been in the area of infectious and non-infectious infertility in the bovine, equine and canine species.His research experience expands over a period of 30 years.Dr. Archbald is a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists (ACT), has served on the Executive Board and the Examination Committee of the ACT, and as Vice-President and President of the ACT.
