Cheryl Archbald, MD, MPH
Cheryl Archbald is a pediatrician trained in clinical pediatrics, preventive medicine and public health.She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Harvard University and an MD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.She completed her Pediatric Residency at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she received a recognition award for community service.She subsequently completed a residency in Preventive Medicine through a combined program of the New York City Department of Health and the Columbia School of Public Health.In addition to having an MPH, she is board-certified in Pediatrics and board-eligible in Preventive Medicine.She is currently on faculty in the Department of Pediatrics/Division of Adolescent Medicine at The Mount Sinai Medical Center and she provides primary care in The Children's Aid Society community clinics.Her primary areas of interest are health education and program development; and, she has been a consultant in a wide variety of public health programs, ranging from reproductive health projects to city-wide asthma initiatives.
