That arrived on Friday when Bill Arand, a plumber for Roto-Rooter in St. Louis, knocked on the door, equipped with an auger and seasoned diagnostic skills. >
...
"People shove it down there, turn it on and just want it to go away," Arand said."They put anything down there."
...
"People flush a lot of things they shouldn't," Arand said.
...
Arand assessed the situation, opened a pipe in the basement and went to work with his auger, finding the source of the problem. He came upstairs and delivered his diagnosis: "Turkey skin," he said."That's what it looks like."
Minshall signed a check for $150 and handed it to Arand.
