Senior Vice-President of Maptek, South America, Marcelo Arancibia has been named the best graduate in 20 years (August, 2002) by the Mining Engineering Department of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.

Marcelo was also recently awarded the 2007 Excellence Award for his contribution to mining engineering by his colleagues at the university.
