Story: - National Office, Wellington From next year, the centre will manage a significant projects / research fund (approximately $1m per annum).We therefore require as part of our new team a fund manager who can lead the disbursement of Ako Aotearoa's discretionary research and project funds.While this position will focus on developing and managing our funding processes, there is also a significant capability building dimension to the role.Ideally, you will have skills and experience in the development of objective processes for the assessment, monitoring and evaluation of research and project proposals, together with a demonstrated understanding of the nature of research, preferably within education or a related field.This position is likely to suit someone with a proven track record in fund management who is seeking greater autonomy and is looking to advance their career to the next level.While this position is permanent, we will also consider applicants wishing to apply for a fixed-term secondment.The job description can be accessed at: Job Description: Research Manager.Applications, with a covering letter, or requests for further information can be forwarded to the Director, Ako Aotearoa, Dr Peter Coolbear (P.Coolbear@massey.ac.nz ).
