Brian C. Andrews was born in Portsmouth, Virginia.Before moving to California, he was a state-licensed general contractor, specializing in residential remodeling and home additions.Upon moving to California, he spent several more years as a Customer Service and Warranty Supervisor for a large, residential, new-home builder.This increased his insight into, and first-hand knowledge of, the source and effects of construction defects common to new-home building.

Mr. Andrews graduated summa cum laude in the top 2% of his undergraduate class, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.Before attending Hastings College of Law, he was employed as a Project Manager on government projects, where he oversaw installations on Camp Pendleton and Miramar Air Base, as well as at the Santa Barbara Airport remodel in 1997.

During his enrollment at Hastings, Mr. Andrews worked as the Judicial Extern to a California Supreme Court Justice, the Honorable Marvin R. Baxter.

Mr. Andrews undertook and won his first jury trial before completion of his second year of practice.

Mr. Andrews practices in the area of construction litigation, including breach of contract, mechanics' lien and stop-notice actions, as well as construction defect defense and prosecution.He is admitted to practice before all the courts in the state of California and has significant appellate experience practicing in both the 9th Circuit and the California Courts of Appeal.
