  Virginia Anderson was born and raised in Columbus, Nebraska.She received her Bachelor's degree from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa in 1999 and moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to follow a career in banking.It was during this time she received the honor as one of the "Ten Outstanding Young South Dakotans" award from the South Dakota Jaycees.Her job then brought her back to Sioux City in 2001, where she helped to form the Sioux City Growth Organization.She met her husband, Jason, and they have one daughter, Bailey.Virginia currently serves as the 2007 President of YPIowa.She served as President of SCGO in 2003 & 2004 and currently overseeing their corporate tour which is their main fundraising event each year and really enjoys helping with their civic committee.
