   On June 7, 1948 (the same day as her graduation) Roselea married Murl Wayne Anderson, who would remain her husband for 55 years. (Dr. Anderson was Superintendent of the Roseburg Public School from 1973 through 1983.) After several years of challenging jobs in the business sector, Roselea taught business education classes at Silverton High School. In the latter years of her working career, she was excited to be able to work with Oregon's best programs for students with disabilities in the Roseburg School District. Her commitment to professionalism, attention to detail, unflagging work ethic and deep loyalty, brought her the respect and love of her family, friends and co-workers. An avid lover of music, Roselea played the sousaphone while attending high school and college, later becoming a talented and stylish organist. Old-fashioned country music was always playing in her home, and she enjoyed singing in church. She was also proud of her membership in Rainbow and Eastern Star, and served several years on the Leadership Circle of the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. Roselea was also a proud democrat, and had a strong commitment to her country, finding alternatives to war, and to a vision of a compassionate government that values serving people in need.
