Perry American Legion Post #147 of Miami, and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Post and the Miami Elks Lodge.He enjoyed fishing and watching old western movies on TV.He married Bertie McGinty on August 13, 1991, in Miami.She preceded him in death on August 3, 2002.
